If these programs can't read the LIST/INFO tags in your WAV files, it sounds like there is a problem with these tags that would also prevent MinimServer from reading them.

Strange, because the standard media server from Synology can read the names of the albums but not the artist, genre, etc.
I am sorry to have to get used to it.

This .wav file contains a LIST/INFO tag and an ID3v2 tag. Both these tags contain the same information:
ARTIST=Alison Moyet
ALBUM=The Minutes
DATE=2013
GENRE=pop
MinimServer should be reading these values from the ID3v2 tag when it scans the file. There is no additional information in the LIST/INFO tag, so adding LIST/INFO support to MinimServer wouldn't make any difference.
I'm not sure why you uploaded the other files.

I think this XML data must be a proprietary Naim thing. I don't know how the Synology media server reads the name of the album. Is it perhaps getting this from the name of the folder containing the file?

Yes, you're right, the media server from Synology recognizes the second folder as the album´s name.
The XML data is completely useless.
There is no other way than to convert manually each of the 2000 albums.
