RE: Error - MinimStreamer: transcode setting '*:L16' requires a converter - simoncn - 03-08-2026 19:06 The disappearance could have been caused by a QTS update. Older versions of QTS included a bundled version of ffmpeg. Older versions of QTS included a bundled version of ffmpeg. That would have been my thought too, but the corresponding QTS version was released back in December 2022. Since then, ffmpeg has no longer been part of QTS. RE: Error - MinimStreamer: transcode setting '*:L16' requires a converter - RobA - 04-08-2026 11:48 I have always updated QTS to the most recent version every time an update is released. As far as I'm aware there were no updates overnight though perhaps other changes were initiated when the NAS was turned on again in the morning ( I turn the NAS off automatically over night and it reboots each morning). I'm not sure where MinimServer/Streamer was "seeing" the ffmpeg files previously. One of life's little inscrutable mysteries! Anyway all working OK now. That's right, the important thing is that it works. I'd say "The X-Files". And maybe there's some idea what the problem was. |
