If you have changed the http.port property to some other value, use that value instead of 9790. Edit: I have updated this section on the MinimServer website to clarify this. Quote:Thanks Peter ps: there is a typo in the Web browser section of the Running MinimServer page of the User Guide Now fixed. Thanks! RE: MinimServer 0.8.1 is now available - Peter@57m - 17-12-2013 17:57 Love the status via browser so forgetful people like me won't have to start my PC again after loading music and forgetting to restart/rescan MinimServer RE: MinimServer 0.8.1 is now available - NeilT - 17-12-2013 18:23 (17-12-2013 17:36)simoncn Wrote: To create a second instance, you should be able to make a new directory underneath /home/pi, unpack the MinimServer archive into this directory, then follow the normal installation instructions. However, there are likely to be problems if you enable desktop integration or automatic startup for the second instance. I'll think about how to handle this. That makes sense. It's running as a headless "Pi in a box" so desktop integration isn't required. Auto startup will be useful - I'll give it a spin and see what happens. If it goes belly up I'll simply remove it all and start again ![]() Neil RE: MinimServer 0.8.1 is now available - NeilT - 17-12-2013 19:16 (17-12-2013 18:23)NeilT Wrote:(17-12-2013 17:36)simoncn Wrote: To create a second instance, you should be able to make a new directory underneath /home/pi, unpack the MinimServer archive into this directory, then follow the normal installation instructions. The new, second, instance started automatically but not the original instance. So, yes, something needs looking at in the auto start up. N. One question, how do I get the tagging in order with .wav? I am using Kinsky and I have edited .wav with ID3v2.4.0 tags, but I get the file name in the overview. What did I forget to set up? (also no album art is visible which is embedded). Did you add the tags to the .wav files before you installed 0.8.1? If so, you probably have a cache that was created by 0.72 and doesn't contain the WAV tags. The simplest way to clear the cache is by setting the writeAllTags property to any value, then restarting MinimServer.
