Hi Simon
Minimserver has been running flawlessly for months, but after a recent update it will no longer transcode, despite the correct field (*:wav24) in the system properties . I am running minimserver on a synology DS214+ and as well as uodating minimserver and streamer I also recently upgraded the OS from 4.3 to 5. Could this be the problem ie is there an issue with the ffmpeg side of things on the synology? If so, how might I fix it??

What file or network stream are you trying to transcode?
Does the file or stream play in its original format, or does something else happen?

These are generally all apple lossless files (some wav). The file plays in its original format...

The files all play in their original format ie ALAC 16bit...

You need to specify alac:wav24, not *:wav24. The * input type is used only for network streams of unspecified type. See this section.

Yes, I have tried this as well, but does not transcode. I have also cleared the upnp cache on N-stream app, and rebooted several times, but this still will not transcode....

Ignore this...I have just rebooted a second time (the NAS and the app) and all seems to be working now! Thanks
