Auto Start After Update? - jtwrace - 13-01-2015 16:11
I've noticed that the Synology updates will cause Minimserver to stop running. Is there a setting that I've missed on Minimserver to make it auto start after an update?

Do you mean updating Synology DSM or updating MinimServer? I haven't had this problem in either case.
I believe that in some cases an update to DSM requires an update to Java. Perhaps this is what happened.

Do you mean updating Synology DSM or updating MinimServer? I haven't had this problem in either case.
I believe that in some cases an update to DSM requires an update to Java. Perhaps this is what happened.
Since my DSM was just updated to the latest version automatically I had to log into DSM and manually start Minimserver as it was stopped to the restart.

This might be related to automatic DSM updates. I always update DSM manually and I haven't seen this.

I don't use auto update either, except for the antivirus package. I may be paranoid but I prefer to control the process and see what's new in the update before installing. I have no problems with Minimserver restarting after a manual update.

I do not use automatic updates on my ds213+. But I had to restart minimserver manually, too, after the last update. AFAIR this did happen earlier, too. But I had the same problem with bubbleupnp server.

I had to restart MinimServer yesterday after an automatic DSM update, as well.
