Confusion over multi disc tagging - paulg - 26-04-2019 11:02 I have a number of double albums which for each one I like to group them together as a single multi disc. I can get it working by entering (Disc 1) etc after each disc. The guide and other forum posts suggest that I can actually give each disc a name. I have attached an example of an album I've been playing around with. I use MP3tag and all my files are FLAC files. You will see Disc 1 loaded. It shows (Disc 1) after the title. The second disc has (Disc 2) after and minimserver correctly groups them together. It would be nice to call Disc 1 Original Album and Disc 2 Demo's and Bonus tracks. In the example attached I have enabled the Subtitle flag in MP3tag and entered Original album but it doesn't make any difference. What am I missing?[attachment=1714] RE: Confusion over multi disc tagging - simoncn - 26-04-2019 11:08 The tag for disc subtitles is DISCSUBTITLE, not SUBTITLE. MP3tag doesn't have an option called DISCSUBTITLE. Is there a program that does allow it to be added? RE: Confusion over multi disc tagging - paulg - 26-04-2019 13:32 I have worked it out now. MP3tag by default doesn't have the DISCSUBTITLE tag but it can be added. Tools / Options / Add Manually type DISCSUBTITLE in the 'Field' box, give it a name in the 'Name' box and save. I have tested and it works. |
