After spending a frustrating half an hour trying to add a folder from the Mac hard disc to contentdir (the part of Properties where you point to your music files), I thought I'd share:
If your Mac is set up for a language that is not English, use English for the path defined in contnetdir
I tried what the Finder showed (iMac set to interface language = French):
/Utilisateurs/unclnigel/documents/FOLDERNAME
and went round and round and round...
Then I had a brainwave and tried:
/Users/unclnigel/documents/FOLDERNAME
and, Hey Presto! it worked
So use:
USERS
VOLUMES
etc
