RecentAdded files issue - lennyjam - 12-11-2022 22:36
I have some issue with the list RecentAdded files.
Minimserver is installed with Gentooplayer and my music files are on a box with an ssd hard drive connected via USB to my PC and RecentAdded files only indicates old files up to 10 years older! But not the last ones...and it's always the same old files list!
I have another Minimserver installed on a Synology Nas that I use with Gentooplayer too and there is no problems (these are exactly the same list of files, tagged in the same way)
And it's exactly the same settings in minimwatch properties
And if I enter new albums they can appear at the top of the list but disappear the next day.
I think I tried everything, without success

Are you using Ramsystem/Ramdisk with GentooPlayer? This can cause information that MinimServer has written to disk to be lost. If the added-dates.txt file in the recent folder is lost for this reason, this could explain the problem you are seeing.

No I dont use the ramsystem anymore.
I 've made a new install of Gentooplayer, always the same older list entries

Can you check the MinimServer recent folder to see if the added-dates.txt file is there? This file is written immediately after a MinimServer rescan. If it is there, does it show new albums you have added before doing the rescan?
From your description of the problem, it sounds like something is deleting the added-dates.txt file after it has been created by a rescan and before you run MinimServer again the next day.

Where can I find recent folder in Gentooplayer?
Because I've got only the web interface GP on another computer (and minimwatch)

The 'recent' folder is under /opt/minimserver. To see this, login to GentooPlayer from another computer using ssh (putty on Windows). See this page for details of how to do this.
