Minimwatch doesn't open - microbus - 31-12-2024 15:43
I recently installed MinimServer 2.2 on my Synology and tried to open Minimwatch 2 on my windows computer but get no response. Suggestions?

Two suggestions:
- have you installed Java on Windows?
- Is the Windows Network Type set to Private and not to Public?

Yes I did install Java and the Network is set to Private.

The next step is to download and run the Jarfix program. Sometimes Windows doesn't correctly associate .jar files with the Java launcher, causing MinimWatch and MinimServer to fail to launch. Jarfix checks for this and repairs it if necessary. Yoy can download Jarfix from this page.
If Jarfix reports that the .jar association is in place, check the Windows taskbar and the taskbar overflow area for a small minim icon (musical note). This is the only visble indication that MinimWatch is running.
