Bluetooth - out of my depth - Donuk - 16-05-2026 09:46 Hi folks... My normal system, which I do understand, is a Melco NAS with Minim, a Linn Klimax DS, into amp and speakers. My daughter has just bought me a lovely Bose Bluetooth headphones. Now, I have been able to put the Qobuz app on my iPhone, and it drives my new earphones nicely. Is there an app I can put on my phone to enable me to pick up my Melco on my home network, an allow me to play all the tracks on my hard drives there? Possible? Donuk RE: Bluetooth - out of my depth - Donuk - 16-05-2026 10:55 Actually - not as hard as I feared - a little bit of research has produced MusicStreamer lite (200 tracks only), which seems to work fine. LudyAmp would not find my NAS...... I don't know about bit-rates of Bluetooth..... Anyone know a better app???? donuk RE: Bluetooth - out of my depth - stefano_mbp - 16-05-2026 12:41 MConnect Player (Lite version is free, iOS and Android) and JPlay for iOS (iOS only) should be fine RE: Bluetooth - out of my depth - Donuk - 16-05-2026 17:06 Thanks Stephano Plenty for me to play around with… Donuk RE: Bluetooth - out of my depth - Stake - 17-05-2026 09:39 (16-05-2026 10:55)Donuk Wrote: Actually - not as hard as I feared - a little bit of research has produced MusicStreamer lite (200 tracks only), which seems to work fine. Foobar2000 mobile will give you full access to your server and it's a nice app. RE: Bluetooth - out of my depth - simbun - 17-05-2026 12:43 (17-05-2026 09:39)Stake Wrote: Foobar2000 mobile will give you full access to your server and it's a nice app.I was going to suggest foobar but it has a face only a mother could love
