Colon prefix when using tagvalue

Hi, I couldn't find an answer to this in the forum but I must be missing something.

My MP3s have an Artist tag for sorting e.g. 'Adams, Bryan' or 'View, The' and a Comment tag for displaying e.g. 'Bryan Adams' or 'The View'. (For historical reasons, it seems to be very difficult for me to use the ArtistSort tag.)

I am using itemTags = Comment and tagvalue = Artist.value.index.display={Comment}. Everything works brilliantly except that the Artist is always prefixed with a colon e.g. ':Bryan Adams'. Is this by design or am I doing something foolish? Can I get rid of it?

This was fixed in December 2013. What version and update level of MinimServer are you using? You can get this information by selecting About from the minim icon.

I've rechecked the date and it was actually fixed in December 2014 in MinimServer 0.8.3 update 53.

To get the fix, you need to install MinimServer 0.8.3 and make sure you are on the latest update (update 66). This update should happen automatically when you install 0.8.3.
