Announcing MinimServer 2.1

Hello & thank you for the 2.1 update. Recently added and played is a great addition requested in the past. I have a "simple" question... Minim is installed and operates perfectly on my Melco N1 EX with MinimWatch on a PC. Reading the announcement ----- "The number of recently played audio files saved by MinimServer is set to 300 by default. You can change this value by setting the recentPlayed option of the serverOptions property. The maximum value is 1000". The question I have is where is the "serverOptions" property located so that the recentAdded option can be changed? Can you please guide me to lcate the related folder? Thanks and Best Wishes.

Select Properties from MinimWatch, then select the Advanced tab. You will see the serverOptions property there.

Thanks for the fast response - Got to the serverOtions property - but is completely empty..... What do I need to insert in there to increase the number of recently added or played albums? Sorry of my ignorance - I am using minim for two years now - everything at defaults...!

recentAdded=1000

Then click on apply

If you want to do this for recently played files as well, set this to:

recentAdded=1000, recentPlayed=1000

For a new release, I prefer to wait a few days to see if there are any major issues reported by users before I submit it to Synology. Oof, thanks for the info. Since it's going to be that long I went ahead and did a manual install of 2.1, it was really simple. Really like the Recently Added feature. Thanks!

Nothing has gone wrong. This log shows MinimServer is running normally.
