OK now I understand.

In fact in was Recently Played but they would both operate the same.

If I look at the top level of Recently Played -> Show All I have 324 albums and 1000 items

So I changed listViewAlbums to 400 and now I get what I was originally expecting with only clicking on Recently Played.

MinimServer update 210 is now available. This should apply the listViewAlbums setting consistently to all menus under Recently Added and Recently Played.

Also in update 210, changes to listViewAlbums are effective immediately instead of on the next MinimServer restart. Some control points (for example, Linn Kinsky) update the currently showing menu automatically. For other control points, you might need to refresh or reload the menu to see the change.

Thanks for the very quick response!

I will make update 210 an automatic update when a few more people have tried it and confirmed it is working OK for them.

As no problems have been reported with update 210, it is now enabled as an automatic update for MinimServer 2.1.

Thank you Simon. I was offered this today and updated and now the recently played list operates exactly how I would like. For once a software developer actually listens to his userbase! Great work. Again thank you.

I added about 100 albums yesterday but then did some updates to Minimwatch in Windows and on QNAP and these are no longer showing in Recently Added. When I retag these files they show up again but would really like to see all my 2022 additions. Any suggestions or did updates just disappear? They all are still present and correct in JRiver.

By default, the number of recently added files shown by MinimServer is limited to 300. You can increase this limit up to a maximum of 1000. Adding 100 albums is likely to exceed this limit and this might be why you are not seeing what you expect. Do you see files in Recently Added that you added or retagged after adding these 100 albums?

Retagging files should not cause them to show up as Recently Added. There was a problem that could cause retagged files to show in Recently Added in some cases. This problems is now fixed in the latest update 213.

Thanks Simon - this has fixed my immediate problem as hadn't spotted the track limit. 1000 tracks still doesn't equate to about one month's worth of additions so an increase would be helpful. Bowie's Brilliant Adventures and Zappa's 200 Motels box sets together are 200 tracks.
