I don't know the details of how webp works so I can't say what might be different between my test images and the Paul Weller image. The Paul Weller image opens for me in Gimp, so it is a valid image. I think you will need to ask Linn why this image doesn't work with their control apps.

Thank you for the information Simon. From my standpoint, there are hundreds of acceptable images I can pick from on the web to use for Album Artist etc. I don't need to choose a webp file format if it is contingent on file format details like the header. Mike
