This seems to mean, gapless playback is possible but there is no way to use this feature. (I don’t understand at alle what this means: »ie an album go directly to the device by remote control, RS-232C / IP control or via a Web interface«. May be here is a secret hidden?)

It means you need to use the player controls to play the album in gapless mode. You won't get gapless playback if you play the album using a separate UPnP control point such as PlugPlayer, etc.

Edit: From subsequent discussion on this thread, it now appears the above statement is not correct. Although it doesn't work with PlugPlayer, it should work with BubbleUPnP. This is because BubbleUPnP implements the SetNetAVTransportURI service action and PlugPlayer doesn't implement this service action.
