I've tried each one. I didn't find a url for Radio6 at 128kbps.

Note: I have edited the URLs in the above quote so that they can be copied and pasted easily.

I had mistakenly assumed maybe it was the UTF-8 .m3u8 file extension causing an issue (I have experienced several players which choke on that 8) but I didn't spend any time trying others. Interesting to find it's the HLS format, explains why my KitiKat devices play it fine but my old Archos running Froyo has finally encountered a format it can't play. HLS compatible Minimstreamer will save the day, at least at home, thanks.
