For a new release, I prefer to wait a few days to see if there are any major issues reported by users before I submit it to Synology. After that, it takes several weeks (sometimes months) for Synology to do their testing. If they find any issues (sometimes very trivial ones), this can add a few more weeks for retesting.

Oof, thanks for the info. Since it's going to be that long I went ahead and did a manual install of 2.1, it was really simple. Really like the Recently Added feature. Thanks!
