RE: move MS to new NAS
You should be able to move your MinimServer installation from one Synology NAS to another by doing the following:

1) Deactivate your MinimServer full license on the old NAS (DS116)

2) Make copies of the following files on the old NAS:
/MinimServer/etc/recent/added-dates.txt (if this exists)
/MinimServer/etc/recent/played-files.txt (if this exists)
/MinimServer/etc/profiles/default.profile
any other profile files in /MinimServer/etc/profiles

3) On the new NAS (DS224+), create a /MinimServer/etc shared folder and restore the files you copied in step 2

4) Install MinimServer on the new NAS
This will automatically update to the latest update version (update 245)

5) Activate your MinimServer full license on the new NAS
This will fail because you haven't extended your updates license. Use MinimWatch to remove update 245 and install update 240, then do the license activation again.

6) If you were previously using the default profile, everything should now be working as before. If you were using some other profile, select this profile in the Profiles tab of the MinimServer configuration web page.
