Does the documentation for your Angstrom ZDA71 list the file types it supports? If so, is .aiff on the list? (My US$300 streamer manual says it does not support .aiff. But for your €9000+ streamer... )

Have you set Minimstreamer to transcode .aiff files to .wav for example?
Enter aiff:wav in the stream.transcode field on your Minimstreamer Properties web page
