FLAC to WAV24 sound quality in 0.8.1

The code that does FLAC to wav24 transcoding is identical in 0.72 and 0.8.1 (with MinimStreamer). I have tested this extensively and I can't detect any difference in sound quality in 0.8.1. Please recheck your configuration settings and also check whether the renderer is receiving a wav24 stream.
