RE: Control Point Loses Connection to MinimServer and Melco N1Z/1
Hi Simon. Yes, IIRC, the Orbi configuration menu has a setting for "IGMP proxying" (but not IGMP snooping). I do not recall how it is set currently, but I will check this evening and report back. Thanks.

Hi Simon. By way of an update, the Orbi's "enable daisy chain typology" setting was NOT checked, so there was nothing to change there. However, the Orbi's "IGMP Proxying" option WAS disabled, so I just enabled it. I will test the Melco and report back. Thanks.

RE: Control Point Loses Connection to MinimServer and Melco N1Z/1
Great news: Unchecking the "Disable IGMP Proxying" box in the Orbi setup menu seems to have solved the problem. I have attached a screenshot of where to find this box just in case anyone encounters the same issue in the future. Thanks very much for the assistance, Simon.

PS -- Interestingly, Bubble UPnP and Linn Kazoo play FLAC files with MinimStreamer transcoding performed on the Melco, whereas the Lumin app plays FLAC files without the transcoding.

PPS -- I just read about the MinimServer 2 rollout here and I am looking forward to when it becomes available for the Melco N1x/1 boxes.

I'm very pleased to hear that this has solved the problem.

It should be possible to play files with transcoding using the LUMIN app. You could try reloading the library in the LUMIN app. If this doesn't work, try using folder view in the LUMIN app (not the same as folder view in MinimServer).

Thanks for the suggestions on using the LUMIN app, Simon, I will try them this weekend.

EDIT: Reloading the library in the LUMIN app fixed the lack-of-transcoding issue. Thanks again for the suggestion.
