Problem playing files with long names

Hi

Using minimserver on a windows 7 pc with 4 hdds. When I select a track with a long name, it does not play the file. I have to rename the file, and then it plays. Is there a solution to this problem?

Are you using Naim n-stream? This is a known bug (related to URL length) which I reported to Naim, but they didn't respond. If you are using Naim n-stream, please send Naim support an email asking them to fix this problem.

If you're not using Naim n-stream, which control point are you using?

Which renderer are you using? It's possible that the problem might be in the renderer rather than the control point.

Yes it is an issue with the renderer's firmware. They are going to rectify it.
