Group changes not being picked up by Rescan-Synology
Hi Simon
Recently, changes to the Group tag are no longer being reflected after a rescan in my Synology setup. Any ideas? Thanks David |

RE: Group changes not being picked up by Rescan-Synology
You might need to refresh the control point's view of your library after the rescan. Which control point are you using?
Also, have you checked the MinimServer log for error or warning messages? |

RE: Group changes not being picked up by Rescan-Synology
Simon
The problem occurs with my usual cpntrol point Hi-Cast and I have just reinstalled BubbleUPnP and it's the same there. There are no errors or warning reported on the log. I edit the Group tags using MP3tag on my FLAC files. David |

RE: Group changes not being picked up by Rescan-Synology
Group (used by MinimServer to group multiple tracks into a single item) is not the same as the Grouping tag in Mp3tag. You need to use Extended Tags to create a new field named GROUP.

RE: Group changes not being picked up by Rescan-Synology
Thanks Simon problem solved. A long time in the past I must have added GROUPING to Mp3tag Tag Panel with the name GROUP which caused my confusion. Thanks for the help.
