Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I have a lot of works that are on 2 albums. I would like them to form one album. I tried to do so by renumbering the tracks en renaming the album title in MP3tag.
The albums remain however separated. What happens here?

If you do the following, the album discs will be merged and the tracks will be renumbered automatically.

1) Add a DiscNumber=1 tag to the tracks on the first disc and a DiscNumber=2 tag to the tracks on the second disc

2) Make sure the album titles and Artist tags (or AlbumArtist tags if used) are the same for all discs
