Help for new/old user

Hello,
happy new year to all!
I have used Minimserver 10 years ago with Linn devices and now I want to come back. As I have German as native language it is nowadays very hard for me, to set up Minimserver correctly.
So please could someone please help me out and post his properties/server, properties/advanced and properties/system settings.
I have lot of rock music and also classical music (incl. box-sets) and searching for the best settings. As tagging program I want to use mp3tag.

I could post my profile but I doubt it will work for you as I have enriched my collection with extensive metadata e.g. AllMusic URLs (only the unique part) for albums and artists.

A minimal set of tags should consist of:

• Album
• AlbumArtist
• Date
• DiscNumber
• TrackNumber
• Artist
• Title
  

If I had only these tags available I'd customise the Album sort and display so that artist discographies were in chronological order:

Thank you, need settings for classical music tags like Composer, Conductor, Orchestra, Soloists, Work etc. Also for boxsets if that is possible?
Perhaps you can help me please or send me your settings via PN, will try them out...

For box sets you just need to make sure that your files are tagged using the DISCSUBTITLE tag (assuming FLAC). Using the boxset The Beatles as an example:

TRACKNUMBER: 1
TITLE: I Saw Her Standing There
...
ALBUM: The Beatles
DISCSUBTITLE: With The Beatles
DISCNUMBER: 2
TRACKNUMBER: 1
TITLE: It Won't Be Long
...

You'll want to name the box set artwork "folder.jpg" and any disc specific artwork after the DISCSUBTITLE tag e.g. "Please Please Me.jpg". Other naming variations are possible but I've found this the best approach for compatibility.
   

MinimServer uses the GROUP tag to group tracks into logical playable items, so you need to alias your WORK tag to GROUP.

In the above example, "111 Years Of Deutsche Grammophon" is the ALBUM (which I cut out the screenshot apparently), "Hahn ● Bach ● Concertos" the DISCSUBTITLE and "Concerto for Violin, Strings and Continuo in E major, BWV 1042" the WORK.

If you want to filter your collection based on WORK (now known as GROUP to MinimServer) you'll need to add GROUP to indexTags (and rename it to "Work" for display purposes):
