OS X Mavericks
Any problems running minimwatch on the new OS?

Nope - works fine. After upgrade your Mac will tell you that it needs to install Java for Minimwatch (or -server) to work. You just click "Install Java" and all is done - well, at least over here
 bbrip NB: The only major bug I found upgrading to Maverick is that the synch to the new iBooks does not seem to work at all. But thats a different story... |

MinimServer 0.72 is still using Java 6, and I wasn't sure whether this would be included in new Mac OS X releases. It's good to know that Apple hasn't removed it (yet). The next release of MinimServer will support Java 7, which is available for all Mac OS X versions from Lion onwards. There will also be continued support for Java 6 for those users who are still on Snow Leopard. |

I think I may have accidentally "upgraded" my Java to 7.0 Version 45 for some security fixes.....  Simon, any chance that I can reinstall Jave 6 manually to get MinimWatch running again. UPDATE: Just checked in Terminal and it tells me I run version "1.6.0_65". So must be some other problem.... thanks bbrip |

The icon just stays grey. Closing and restarting MinimWatch does not correct matters. However, the server itself is running just fine on my NVX

There are two likely causes for this: 1) A firewall or application permission setting is preventing MinimWatch from listening on its network socket 2) You have more than one active network adapter, and MinimWatch is listening on the wrong adapter |
