Edit: I've now caught up with the recent discussion on this thread.

MinimServer doesn't read tags from WAV files because this isn't part of the WAV specification. For the same reason, MinimServer doesn't read tags from DFF files. MinimServer does read tags from DSF files.

MinimServer reads ID3v2 tags from MP3 files. It doesn't read ID3v1 tags. Is it possible that your MP3 files contain ID3v1 tags? If so, it's easy to convert these tags to ID3v2.
